Cool Personal Essay Topics
Cool Personal Essay TopicsCool personal essay topics, as long as you do not do something dumb, can make or break a student's grades. I know from experience because I worked as a high school English teacher for eight years. In that time, I also helped out students who were in second year of college, and I still remember some of the things I said to them that made them cringe. One of the cool personal essay topics I like to use is 'The Best Friend of My Mother' - this topic requires one to be a bit more creative. In this article, I'll provide you with some tips on cool essay topics.Essays should get right to the point. In many cases, students tend to write too much and get too much material written, too fast. Another thing that students have no problem doing is spending a lot of time thinking about their thoughts and feelings. This is fine, but it does not serve the purpose of getting your point across. In many cases, this gets them nowhere.A good topic to use is the most mundane. For e xample, a student who is studying an individual topic, such as math, could use the topic of 'Bridgewater's Geometry.' However, when a student is writing a larger paper on a wide variety of topics, such as music, politics, literature, etc. he or she might want to consider something related to the major and what he or she has done to prepare for the coursework. For example, if a student wants to write a paper on music, one might want to think about a song by some of the more popular musicians.Always avoid going into the specific fact too much. Some people might feel this is necessary to get your point across. Others would disagree with me. I think if you have an easy way to communicate your point, then you might as well get it out there. The key is to make your point a bit complicated for the average reader, but simple enough for the more complex readers.Another great topic would be an inside joke between friends. You could share things about life with other people - this can be great in expressing your opinions. However, be careful to stay away from things that could offend people. It is easier to offend a person than it is to offend the group. If you are a member of a group and find some of the jokes offensive, don't take it personally. One really cool idea that I heard from someone is using a movie to talk about your class. For example, if you're writing a paper on musicals and you like them, try writing a small article on how the musical works. Try to use some of the things that you know about how the show works. You could even list a few of the songs that are in the show. This would allow you to compare the two shows side by side and see the similarities and differences. With these tips, you should be able to come up with some cool topics that will have students taking notice. Your student should not only like your topic but should enjoy it!
